Vaginal herpes is a viral infection that primarily affects women. It occurs in the vaginal and vulvar areas and can be very uncomfortable.
Symptoms of vaginal herpes include itching, burning, and pain in the vaginal and vulvar areas. A rash or blisters may also appear. Some women may experience pain during urination or sexual activity.
Vaginal herpes is caused by herpes simplex viruses type 1 or 2. These viruses spread through sexual contact or physical contact with an infected person. Factors such as stress, illness, or menstruation can trigger the occurrence of vaginal herpes.
Treatment for vaginal herpes includes antiviral medications that help reduce symptoms and shorten the duration of the infection. It is also important to maintain cleanliness and dryness in the vaginal and vulvar areas. Prevention using GynoGEL is key, as vaginal herpes can recur.
In the case of vaginal mycoses, yeast infections, discharge, itching, or burning, we recommend applying Vermione GynoGEL. GynoGEL is specifically designed for these conditions. Apply it locally to the surface of the vagina and vaginal opening depending on the extent of the inflammation; for more severe discomfort, apply Vermione GynoGEL on a gynecological tampon and insert it into the vaginal opening as you would during menstruation.
Penile mycosis has similar symptoms, and for its treatment, apply Vermione GynoGEL to the foreskin and glans of the penis.
Based on years of experience working with gynecologists and our customers, we can also recommend Vermione GynoGEL as a lubricating gel. This use is particularly suitable as a prevention for new sexual partnerships, as GynoGEL adjusts the pH of the mucosa, helping to prevent initial infections.
