Venous Leg Ulcers

Venous Leg Ulcers

Venous leg ulcers are a long-term, unpleasant condition that arises due to insufficiency of the venous system in the lower limbs. They are most commonly found in the area of the calf and less frequently around the inner ankle. Initially, an inconspicuous change in skin color can lead to the formation of a deep, extensive purulent wound. Venous leg ulcers represent a defect that affects the deeper layers of the skin, specifically the dermis. Sometimes, they can extend even deeper into the muscles, tendons, and bones, causing destruction. Venous leg ulcers arise from arterial or venous causes.

How Vermione Strong Cream Works on Venous Leg Ulcers

In cases of vascular skin tissue disruption due to venous leg ulcers, we recommend applying Vermione Strong cream several times a day for its reparative and restorative properties. Apply the cream directly to the open wound on the leg. The wound will first begin to clean itself, followed by the formation of new skin tissue and its layers. Once new tissue is established, the wound will start to close.

Apply the cream 2-3 times a day.

Combination: If the surrounding skin of the leg is calloused, we recommend applying Vermione Beta cream, which is developed on an ointment base. It will moisturize and soften the skin. If lymphatic fluid is leaking from the wound, apply the antiseptic Vermione Gel before the Strong cream. This will help stop the fluid leakage. After applying the gel, wait 15 minutes before applying Vermione Strong cream.

Recommendation: Allow the wound to breathe as much as possible; if not necessary, do not use a dressing.
